We are the young inheritors of 2000 years of wine producing tradition, and we would like to share the fruit of our vines with you.
By respecting the production guidelines of organic farming, and through careful and meticulous work , we offer you a range of young, light, fruity wines as well as some exceptional wines aged in French oak.
And all of this with one goal in mind : that the wines of Clos le Joncal become your favourite!

You will discover the new version of our website, which at the same time takes the opportunity of celebrating the 10th anniversary of our flagship wine Mirage du Joncal.
The 2007 harvest has ended and the young wines are very promising. You will have heard, here and there, a lot of questions about this year.
One year in 7, with 13 moons , and a month of August when we waited for the sun..... Even more so than in previous years, 2007 is above all the year of the winemaker. It was necessary to inspect the vines on a daily basis, to avoid the spreading of diseases. And we have to mention , not without some pride, that in our second year of organic farming , our vines were in every respect - magnificent.
The white wines are of an impressive aromatic intensity, even though the alcoholic fermentation is still lingering on.
The reds are stunning , especially the cabernet sauvignon which are at the same time both supple and powerful.

Speaking of wines in bottles, we have just finished bottling and labelling our Mirage 2005 as well as our new prestige cuvée which we have christened "Mystère du Joncal". The first 2005 vintage, has produced 1056 bottles of 75cl and 126 magnums of 1.5 litres. This wine is a blend of merlot (40%), Cabernet Franc (30%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (30%). And, most importantly, it has the distinctive feature of being aged without any addition of sulphur. A symbol of the true wine of Clos le Joncal, simply the result of perfectly mature grapes vinified and aged naturally.
