H F - “Les Hauts de Fontette” - AOC Bergerac Rouge

Deep purple colour, with shades of violet. Made up of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, barrelled in oak for 14 months, this wine has a powerful nose, with hints of vanilla and toast, interspersed with black fruits. The tannins are round and not aggressive, and the presence of dark fruits persists in the mouth.

Board Chief : to taste with a prime rib.

Mirage du Joncal - AOC Côtes de Bergerac Rouge

As soon as the wine is poured into the glass, its intense colour awakens interest. Its dark red, almost black radiance reminds one of ripe dark cherries, or conjures up images of Merlot grapes gleaming in the sunshine. The initial nose comes primarily from the barrel. The wine then slowly expresses itself with hints of black pepper, candied cherries, violets and blackcurrants. The initial aromas will evolve and develop over time.

Then finally – the tasting - An attack which is round and voluptuous due to its powerful tannins, but which remains silky smooth. The dark fruits return, giving a well balanced elegant wine.

To be decanted one hour before tasting

Board chief :to book with a jitter of deer or salmis of palombe.
